Because Alex's office was closed today in honor of President's day, we decided to continue our Valentines Day celebration. We spent the morning doing nothing special--running errands before another big snow fall set to bring us 6 more inches of snow--but we were together just the two of us. We then went to one of my favorite restaurants, The Log Cabin Inn for an early lunch. It is actually an old log cabin that was renovated into a cozy restaurant. We sat at a table in the back room next to a wall of windows that overlooked a little creek and a wonderful forest. Today the view was almost hidden by the gigantic icicles that were hanging from the roof. Our meal was delicious and we had such a lovely time together.
I also wanted to share with you these beautiful Valentines that I received in the mail. With all this snow that has fallen in the past week, the mailman is having a difficult time delivering. There were several days last week when he just could not get to our street. I was so happy that these little hand made beauties were able to make it to me before Valentines Day.
I just adore the image she used on this card. Love You Tons too Joyce :)
And then from my talented friend Michele......
Just look at that sweet little cupid!!! She used one of my favorite papers from Basic Grey. Thank you Michele--- I could not love it more.
I sure hope you all had a special day with your loved ones.

Your Roses were beautiful. You all are getting the snow fall now. We didn't get much this last go around. It went toward the northeast and the east coast. There were some kids that got to have a snow ball fight in Texas that was not use to the snow. It melted very fast. You just don't know what you are getting and I don't think the weatherman knows either. Take care
Sounds link you had a wonderful, relaxed, cozy V day. Gorgeous roses, beautiful valentines. Mimi
Er, like.
Lovely roses, how wonderful for you. I really like the Valentines cards you received. It is so special to receive those from friends.

Roses, Starbucks, blueberry muffin and then dinner out - YUP, your Valentine's Day had it all, gal!! It sure sounds like you enjoyed it immensely. And those cards you recieved, how pretty! I wish that they gave cards to each other over here in Germany. they are not real big on cards in this country, and I REALLY miss not only getting valentine's cards, but being able to go to the store to look at them all. I used to collect them when i was younger. What fun!! Still cold and snowy here but suppose to warm up a bit. I will believe it when I see/feel it! hugs, Debby
Happy Valentine's Day! What a wonderful banner sent to you by Joyce! She has just the most perfect touch with her paper craft. It is always so beautiful. Thank you for sharing it with us! Elizabeth
