Well the weatherman was right...more snow in the forecast. It seems winter is here to stay. We are expecting 3-5 inches throughout the night and another inch or so tomorrow. I am ready....I have been to the grocery store for all the necessities, I have a big pot of chicken soup on the stove, and I have plenty of crafting supplies to keep me busy until......well lets just say I have plenty :) I have been in the Valentines mood lately and I thought I would post just a couple of the projects that I have been working on for my etsy shop. I really enjoyed creating the pocket magnet cards for my craft fairs this fall and thought a Valentines version would be the perfect thing to chase away the winter blues.
The little frog is a magnet which fits into the pocket card for mailing. The back of the card is left blank except for a funny little Valentines message and a place to sign your name.
Same idea with this friendly little elephant. The only difference is the base of the card is covered in fabric instead of paper. I really am enjoying my cricut machine and the endless hours of inspiration it gives me.
Well I am off to my craft studio...I think I will grab a cup of hot chocolate to keep me warm. I hope you are safe and warm tonight and enjoying your evening.

Hi Mimi! We're waiting for the snow to arrive here, but the weathermen keep changing the amount--We're only supposed to get less than an inch--I'm hopeful for more though! :-)
As always, I love your creations, and there's still plenty of time before Valentine day!
Very cute!
We have somewhere around 6" of snow here. More maybe tomorrow and then on Sunday. Oh my!!!!!

Hello there Mimi...
GREETINGS FROM SOUTH AFRICA!
I saw a comment you put up on Kim's blog and had to come and visit. I am so happy I did. I love your blog!!!
I wish I'd found it earlier, because I've been busy with a secret Scrapbooking project for my daughter's 21st birthday. It's finished now - all 80 pages of it - a mammoth project! It's due for handover at her party on the 5th Feb...it's been hard to keep it secret from her.
I just love your creativity...it's truly inspiring. Wish I was closer to you and could visit your shop.
Sending lotsaluv to you

MAXMOM IN SOUTH AFRICA
Truly adorable! My little grandgirls would love them. Mimi
Hi, Mimi! Very cute pocket cards. Glad you're enjoying your Cricut. I go in such spurts with mine. Last week I spent some time cutting out random images. Now I just have to make cards with them! We've had quite a bit of cold, icy, snowy weather so far this winter -- at least for us in the South. Now they're calling for some more next week. We'll see. I like the extra crafting and puttering around the house time, but it does make things a little stressful at work. Such are the trade-offs, I suppose. :) Glad to know you are well. (Scrolled down and saw your new glasses. They look great! And I can totally relate to the eye changes -- and I've been visiting the eye doctor regularly since 5th grade!)
Hi there! Great blog! I love the cards, and can't wait to see more! I have also started my own blog. I use my new cricut to make cards. I also cook and post diy projects. Feel free to check it out, and follow if you would like. Thanks :D
