Fishing

As far back as I can remember, fishing has always been a part of our family.  My Dad loved to fish so growing up I spent many a day with a fishing rod in hand.  I miss those times with my Dad---those times when my Mom would pack a picnic basket full of chicken and potato salad and we would all have dinner on the shore of the lake.
Today warmed my heart.  As I watched my son--using my Dad's fishing rod-- teach Drew's tiny hands how to fish....

At the very lake I fished with my Dad when I was a little girl......

This was the sweetest day.......

In more ways than one    :)

What a great story and pics. fishing is a tough sport, I'd need ice cream afterwards to!

Hi Mimi, He is so cute and it is always fun to watch them try something new. I enjoyed your month of pictures in the previous post. I am trying to catch up visiting friends. Have a wonderful day. Your Missouri Friend.

He's a cutie alright! Both of them are actually. So fun to still live where you grew up. So many great memories for you and your family. Mimi

This is your sweetest post ever. Your fishing trip created a fun memory for Drew and relived one for you, too.
