Sweet Little Picture Frames

Not a long post tonight...I just wanted to share with you a little project that I have been working on. I found these adorable little picture frames as I was wondering around one of our local stores yesterday. I almost passed them by when I noticed that the mat inside of the frame was actually a thin piece of particle board. How perfect for altering. So I scooped up a bunch and hurried home to create. I just wanted something simple---sometimes less is more. Here are the first two that I completed.
The precious little girl in this frame is my mom. I just love this picture!!

This sweet little boy is none other than my husband on his first birthday.

This was a fun project to complete. I bought several more of these frames and have so many ideas on how to alter them. So off I go to create..............

The frames are adorable. Love them both. I see you used the same MS edger thing. I went to look for one but they didn't have one at our Walmart. I'm going to try to get to Michael's to look this weekend. Mimi

Mimi, I LOVE your frames, especially the pink "precious" one! you did a great job on creating them. And the old pictures are just too sweet! Reminds me of all the old pictures that used to hang in my mother's house in the "rogue's gallery" as she lovingly called it. Old photos of my grandparents as children, great grand parents, etc. My sister is now the "keeper of our family history", having inherited the photos when our mother passed away, but copies are bing made for each of us sisters. Anyway, LOVE what you make, and so fast!! I wish I lived near an american craft store, I miss all the wonderful things you can find there!! Have fun re-doing all the other frames. Don't you just love it when a new idea has your in its clutches and you can't stop until all the great ideas are completed! ENJOY the moment. Debby

What adorable frames. I think these would make perfect new baby gifts; a hand-decorated frame to place that first picture of a precious newborn. You have been like a woman on fire with your new items. You are an inspiration to your friends old and new!
XOXO

These are SO cute. You do such great work. I just ordered a couple of your "Love Note" items. I SO remember when my kids also gently told me that they were getting a little too old for notes in their lunches. I'm glad I'm not the only goofy mom. : )
Have a great week.
