It is beautiful to be inside looking out! Your yeard isbeautiful and the "girls" are certainly having a lot of fun romping around! Looks like we're getting a bit of a break today...time to run out and take care of some errands. xoxo
Sooo beautiful! I love to see it come down and pile up on our deck, but then I want it to be gone in a day or two, lol. Stay warm and safe, starrydeborah
Your winter scene is beautiful. I would like to trade the amount of snow you have to the amount that we have. It has been snowing here again today on top of what we already had. We shut down early because of the snow. We are suppose to get more tonight with 25 to 35 miles a hour winds which means more drifts. I have to check in in the mornign to see if we are working. Take care
Don't you love having two dogs? It is a bit more work but, once you're used to it, I can't imagine ever going back to just one!! They are each other's best friend and run around the backyard like maniacs all the time. Everybody needs a playmate!! :)
Stopping by the say Happy New Year! Life has been busy and I haven't been by lately but I'm trying to get a little organized so that I can stop by more often.
We are expecting several inches of snow tonight and tomorrow (Baltimore, Maryland).
Your pictures are just so pretty. I love snow pictures and was out in our snowy world today with the dog and the camera. The dogs look like they like the snow as much as ours does. And seeing your snowy photos made me think I was back home in NJ in the house where I used to live! I totally agree, snow is fantastic as long as I do not have to drive in it. i panic! thanks so much for the wonderful comment on my recent blog-iversary post. I can hardly believe that my first year has gone by already. Where has the time gone. It has been a wonderful journey and i am looking forward to this second year on blogger. hugs from here dear Mimi, one of my very first friends here and your continued friendship mens the world to me. About Dandelion Wishes--Why a Dandelion you ask???
As I was contemplating starting my blog and opening my etsy shop, many thoughts swam in my head. What would I write about, what would I sell and what in the world would I call my blog and shop? Oh I had a list of names--which one should I choose? I finally decided on Dandelion Wishes. Why that name you ask? Why a dandelion--they are such a nuisance poking their little yellow heads right out into the beautiful green grass. Then there are those little white seed parachutes floating over my lawn just looking for a place to land and grow more little yellow heads in my beautiful grass. If I would have stopped at that thought I never would have choosen the dandelion to represent my blog. Who want's to be known as a nuisance?? Not me. As I stopped and really looked at the little yellow flower, I discovered that it is really quite beautiful. With it's many petals and it's happy yellow color I found it to be really very cheery. And then the thought struck me. There are many things that come into our lives that at first we consider a nuisance. But if we really stop to think about them, often they can become a thing of beauty--teaching lessons and helping us to grow and mature in our lives. I couldn't think of a better name for my blog and shop. It helps to remind me to stop and see the beauty in all situations, to ask myself what lesson I am to be learning, and how does this situation help me to grow into a better person. I wish that for all of you my friends as well. Thank you for visiting Dandelion Wishes. I hope you enjoy your stay.
