Another Rednesday

I really enjoyed playing along on Rednesday last week so I thought I would share some more of my red with you again today.  After you peek at mine,  hop on over to "It's a Cheery World" to check out all of the other blog posts.  There are some great "reds" to see.
Last week several people asked to see pictures of my red kitchen.  So I will start my red post with a little tour .......
Here is a closer view of a few more of my favorites.  I will save the rest so that I can play along again next week.....
This sweet little red kitchen timer and this fun
Flamingo insulated jug.  I bet this jug came along on many sunny afternoon picnics :)

****Just a little note...My little red card entry below did not win a prize but thank you all for such sweet comments.  As they say "If at first you don't succeed, try try again"  So I am off to create  and give it another try.  If you would like to see the beautiful cards that were honored just click this link to Moxi Fab World.  You will be delighted.
Happy Rednesday everyone!!!

Your camera takes great pictures and your kitchen looks really great. Every thing looks like you posed it for a magazine picture. Where are Sassy and Mable...I'm use to seeing them run through the kitchen. Good job.

Oh I just love a red kitchen. (As you saw at my post) I love the chest that the microwave is sitting on. My favorite photo is the one that shows the green ricer on the shelf with the red. Sue had mentioned that she thought next wed we should do Irish Red. I was going to show my red and green kitchenware combo's. That picture would be perfect. It shows my favorite shade of green. Thanks so much for stopping by.

What a great rendition of a cottage kitchen! The beadboard is great -- real or fool the eye? That red table in the center and your touches of red in the plates and other treasures just really make it pop1

Mimi, oh I love your kitchen!! It looks so cozy and inviting. I especially love the table in the corner, reminds me of the one in my mom's old kitchen, where the family always gathered even after we married and moved away, for cups of tea and long chats. I love your shelf filled with the vintage tins! My niece collects them too and I am always on the look out for some nice ones here for her. Should I keep my eye open for you? Any particular color or shape or graphic?

As for that old phone, funny enough, but my mom still had the original phone hanging on the wall in the kitchen and it still worked like a charm! How many long conversations did she have with me on the phone since I moved away! I miss those phone calls since she passed away! Anyway, young people did not know how to work the phone. i thought that was funny, and it also made me feel realllly old. :-)

hugs to you for a lovely post, and for all your delightful visits to my blog. debby

p.s. love the new pic of you and your family in the header. Very nice!

I have that same popcorn tin - in black and white. And I have a vintage phone too, only it's RED!

I am going to be putting in a new floor soon, and I may have to look for one similar to yours!

Thank you for sharing!!

Hi Mimi, Your kitchen looks so inviiting and I love your tour. I don't feel so bad now because I know someone else has a rotary phone. I have two, one is a princess that is 47 years old and the other is a wall phone that is 45 years old I was told I needed to get into the 21st century and I laughed at them. Take care.

I baaaack--I had the Sunshine Family too. I think they are currently residing with the Barbies. How funny that someone
else had those dolls.

Happy Friday.
