Pretty in Pink

******The pictures will return soon****** This item is out for publication :)

I just love all things girly---the color pink, dainty flowers, sparkling gems, pretty pearls, oh and did I say the color PINK.  Of all the paper quilts that I have created so far I think this might be my very favorite.  I was looking through my stash of frames the other day and I came across this shadow box frame from Martha Stewart.  I had purchased  this frame probably over a year ago and put it away until I found just the right project to use it for.  I just loved the sweet scalloped edges and thought it would be the perfect place to frame my newest paper quilt.
Because this frame is actually a shadow box,  it allowed me extra space to add some paper flowers....
tiny vintage mother of pearl buttons......
and to "pop" up the image created with my Cricut....
I just loved creating this shadow box.  That sweet little girl image just made me smile :)  Walking barefooted in the grass among the flowers.....

Ahhhh hurry Spring----we are looking forward to your arrival.

Hi Mimi! This is just so perfectly adorable!!! You've added so many sweet details! I'm a pink lover too, which is sometimes hard in a house full of guys. :) ...I'm so happy you popped over from sweet Elizabeth's. You have such a charming blog, and it's so nice to meet you! Have a fun day! :) Paulette

Hey Mimi!! Your creations really are lovely and adorable--And, this is really a dumb question, but how long have you had music on your blog? I always have the sound turned down because I'm watching TV--But today I didn't and when your blog popped up, there came the 'Pooh Song' that I've not heard in ages...I'm a little on the edge and cried as I listened...It's such a sweet song...I feel better now...This has been a good visit to your blog! :-) Take care and even I who loves winter is hoping spring is near!

Hi Mimi
this is just beautiful. Each quilt card is more wonderful than the next. Now you need to come and use some of my material and make a real fabric quilt. I know you could do it.

Wow Mimi! You really do inspiring work. I've never seen a 'quilt card' before. You must have a card 'sewing machine'? Anyway...your creations are exquisite! Congratulations!
